How much should you take?
How much CBD should you take? This is a very common question and an important one.
The truth is that there is no set dosage. CBD works differently for different people. Research is ongoing at numerous labs across the country, including Peak City CBD, to learn more about max dosage and best dosage for each ailment. Someone who suffers from anxiety might need a different dose than someone who wishes to treat some inflammation or aches and pains.
Here is what we recommend today for the CBD dose:
- Start slow and see how it affects you and helps you. Perhaps you will want to start with 1 dropper full per day, maybe even ½ dropper at a time under the tongue (for oils). See if it helps you or has any side effects.
- Gradually increase the dose until you see maximum effectiveness
- If you start to feel some side effects (some people report sleepiness if they take too much CBD, etc.), then back off the dose to a lower level.
- Everyone has to find their happy medium of dosage. We generally hear that 1-2 droppers full per day are often where the dose needs to be.
Drowsiness is by far the most common side-effect of CBD. So, sometimes this is desirable though if you want to use CBD to help you try to sleep! When taking CBD at night, especially for sleep, why not take a slightly higher dose than during the day? After all, you want to sleep soundly and wake up refreshed and ready. CBD can help!
